And we were out walking, with a camera and a tripod. It was a slow walk, spread over a few hours. Chill sunk hard into fingers and hands, steps were gathered as perceptions changed on what was beautiful and not. At the end of our walks, we found a church, from the year of 1909, radiating a solid feeling with its harsh stones, the glow from the clock in the top announcing its position over the town.

This picture is taken from the southern side, standing in the shadows of a tree, stepping on the graves and aiming to the east and the tower. I have cut quite a lot from the image, leaving only parts of the shadowed backpart and the illuminated tower.

This picture was taken from the northwest, catching the waning moon which opposes the tower, creating a lovely duality of targets. As is visible the guiding red lights for the towers have come lit this time, creating another, sharper lightsource to compete with the clock and the moon.
